Partnering to build a world where all mothers and children thrive

Housing instability is a critical issue for many underserved communities, and single mothers are particularly vulnerable to its impacts. Nationally, there is a growing need for affordable housing, especially for low-income families. With a focus on single mothers, We Got You Fam addresses this gap by providing a combination of stable housing, family services, and job support.

Patti Bunyasaranand has worked in medical education and medical communications since 2009 and holds a Master of Science in Urban Policy Studies with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. Born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents who immigrated from Bangkok, Thailand, she has a deep appreciation for diversity and finds purpose in connecting with those who seek to make a difference in the world. Now based in San Diego, Patti enjoys foods from all cultures, traveling and adventure-seeking, doting on animals, and seeing life through the eyes of her 2 year old niece.

A Personal financial coach, educator, and author

When it comes to accumulating wealth, I learned from my parents, friends, books, blogs, and personal experience.
I noticed my parents were able to meet friends on trips abroad during their retirement. I wanted this for myself and for my friends.
I held personal finance education parties at my house. People would learn something new and apply it immediately.
Many bought houses. A few got out of debt. One started a college fund. One saved up for a dream: to hike the PCT with her family. They just finished!
Ultimately I love transforming and inspiring people to take control of their financial lives.
I finally put it all down in a book, but my mission doesn’t end there. I continue to actively share my knowledge in my blog and live events.

Our Story
We Got You Fam was born out of a deep understanding of the challenges faced by single mothers navigating housing instability. Too often, these mothers are forced to choose between shelter, employment, and the well-being of their children, with limited access to the resources necessary to build a secure and independent future.
Our journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: no mother should have to struggle alone. Recognizing the urgent need for stable housing solutions and holistic support, we set out to create a safe haven—one that not only provides a roof over their heads but also equips them with the tools to thrive.
Through safe housing, educational programs, career development opportunities, and essential wraparound services, we work to break the cycle of poverty and empower mothers to reclaim their futures. We believe that when a mother is given the stability and resources she needs, she can create lasting change—not just for herself, but for generations to come.
