Who We Are
We Got You Fam is a nonprofit that works to address the urgent issue of housing instability among single mothers and their children in economically marginalized communities. We will provide transitional housing, long-term affordable housing solutions, social services, and educational programs. Our goal is to empower single mothers, giving them the tools and support necessary to achieve financial independence, improve their health and well-being, and create a sustainable, stable home environment for their children.

Program and Services
Transitional Housing Program
Our objective is to provide safe, temporary housing for single mothers and their children who are at risk of homelessness.
Services
• Secure, furnished housing units for up to 12-18 months.
• Case management and access to social services (mental health, family counseling, legal assistance).
• Access to financial literacy programs and budgeting workshops.
Job Readiness & Career Development Program
Our objective is to empower mothers to gain employment and self-sufficiency through job training, education, and career mentorship.
Services
• Resume building, interview prep, and job search assistance.
• Access to GED, high school diploma programs, and vocational training.
• Career counseling, job placement, and mentorship from community professionals.
Community Building & Peer Support Networks
Our objective is to Create a network of peer support for single mothers to build resilience, share resources, and offer emotional support.
Services
• Monthly workshops on parenting, mental health, and life skills.
• Peer mentoring programs where mothers can support one another through shared experiences.
• Community-building events, including family outings, financial literacy workshops, and skill-sharing opportunities.
Permanent Supportive Housing
Our objective is to offer long-term affordable housing for families who transition out of the temporary housing program.
Services
• Rental assistance and subsidies based on income.
• On-site support services to ensure continued success in employment, education, and family well-being.
Childcare & Child Development Services
Our objective is to ensure children of single mothers have access to quality education, after-school programs, and mental health support.
Services
• On-site childcare for working mothers, and after-school programs for children.
• Partnerships with local schools to support academic success and address developmental needs.
• Support groups for children experiencing trauma due to housing instability.
